Oracle BI at UMass - Managing Change in the Repository
Speakers: Barbara Prickett, Data Warehouse Manager, & Banu Solak, Data Warehouse Specialist, Univ. of Massachusetts
Abstract: UMass is attempting to stay current with delivered Campus Solutions Warehouse bundles which usually include a new Oracle BI repository with each release. This is tricky business given the nature of how a repository file exists and the fact that, between bundles, UMass needs to make their own customizations to that file. This webcast will examine the different methods we are using to manage change, including some tips about how to use the Oracle BI 3-way merge for both Campus Solutions Warehouse bundle updates as well as merging our custom repository across environments.
Oracle MapViewer and OBIEE Integration
